Hi everyone

Havn't heard of them but
I know X-Force 4-2-1 Headers are bang for buck. Have you tried researching them?

For $240 don't expect big gains or power to be dyno-proven, $240 delivered = cheap of the cheap headers so best not to expect too much from them.

yea figured that these are prob just temp till i get the $$ for something more plausable but yea

low to mid gains on a 4-1 design (primarily for top end) and to go on an already torqueless motor (i'm assuming b16a) where it's only feasible to really salvage the topend?

yea i was thinking that 2 im in need of torque!!! lol i dno Dr Honda said they would be good for my car so im jst gunna stick with the 4-1s but im looking for a set of 4-1 JDM Type R headers but these will have to be a sad replacement if i can get my hands on a set of JDM headers ill have to settle for these :( lol
cheers

obx is entry level probably similar to xforce but perhaps not even quite as popular...probably better off going the jdm headers for the time being if you're on a budget, if they are cheaper

once you save up a bit more later, you can upgrade! ;)

lol yea i think im gunna do that some 4-1 jdm headers came up so i think im gunna get them hopefully if all goes well when i become a member i can sell off my old exhaust for a bit n some other stuff i got lying around ie subs amps alarms n dat sh1t and make enough to buy the mugen ones :)

So wot u recommend for low-mid gains?, B16a is notorious for a weak low end... ive had mine 4 only 2 weeks and u really need to be good wit ur gearchanges so u dont fall below 3k rpms. Other wise, its just like a gli below 3k rpms. I know as i used to own an ej8.

my em1 is just dying for more go... maybe i should have waited around and gotten a b18c dc2... gets my heart racing much more than my em1... still, em1 has got the looks...

very true i find it hard 2 keep up with SSS at a stand still start untill i hit vtec in 2nd gear b16as also have a sh1t 1st gear bt hopefully after all the exhaust it will be better

Man. slip the clutch and u should beat an SSS. B16a2 shouldnt be beaten by an sss!

With a b16A in an EG running 4-1 headers wont last long you'll smash them bottom runner pretty quick. Ecspecially if they designed for b18c. 4-2-1 better ground clearance.

oo yea may b a problem but i got type r shocks with the longer drive would that make a difference?

B18c bit taller then b16 thats why when you bolt onto a b16 it hangs lower. So if you ever slam your ride you will have dramas.

i got xforce 4-1 headers on my b16. i scrape them on small speed humps lol. still seem to have a decent low end, its still very drivable. but i have the 4.4 final drive im pretty sure.
