Hi Guys, just new to the site but not new to the wonder and power of the Honda.
I have a 1990 LS/Vtec that I raced in the Vic State Championships, Improved Production. I drive the PIARC club days at Phillip Island. My engine is being rebuilt at the moment, B16a head/ B18a block. CP X forged 12:5:1 lightweight pistons, Bigger valves and more race porting being done. I have 48mm quad throttle bodies and have the Autronic engine management system. Looking to use Toda C spec cams if the price is right ???
The car was doing 1:51's at the island before slipping a main bearing on its last sprint meet in July 2008. So I hope the engine will be good for 180 whp and sub 1:50's when I get back on the track.
If you guys want to see what the old specs were have a look on the Temple Of Vtec Asia and search for the Black Beast....
If your at the track on the PIARC sprint days come and introduce yourselves I will one of the instructors there to help you have a good day out...

Yeh thanks for putting up the link Im not much a computer person.
The car is a dedicated track/ circuit car. Never done a 1/4 mile run but if I were to guess perhaps 13's ??? Zero to 100 in 6 sec ??? All guess work figures lol

Thanks I will have a good poke around in the DIY for sure , happy to share my experiances with anyone who wants to know !
Im still learning myself lol Im in the middle of rebuilding my race engine with much higher comp, some heavy duty race head porting and larger valves ect... Cams are something Im trying sort out at the moment. I could be going for some TODA killer cams, as I need some high lift (13mm) and longer duration.
