guys my vtec died out on me. anyone know the problem. i tried cleaning my solenoid. changed new oil and all. oil level is fine. my headers sounds really weird since i first got it. should i try putting back in my stock ecu? cause i know vtec works in my stock ecu. but if i take out my neptune one will it reset? or it will be fine to plug it back in later on? thanks for the help

like you noted that your vtec works with your stock ECU. There might be a problem with your new ECU would be the case.

How do you know vtec works with the stock ECU??
Did it only randomly stop working or did it stop as soon as you put the new ECU in?

Btw is your engine light on?

nah wen i put in my new one it worked fine. lol only recently it died. well recently i blew my headers gasket. got it fixed and since then vtc seemed really weak, then just a couple of days ago vtec doesnt kick in at all.

lol nah i dont know if it will work with my stock ecu. im just curious if my new ecu might be fried. thats why i wana try pluging in my stock one. but if i take out the one i got now, will i need to retune it after i put it back in.
