i would assume if the guy doesnt answer, he sold the car. same would apply if the number was switched off or it went directly to voicemail.

My best bet is to leave a SMS with interest about the car and ask them to ring back if it's still available. Since it rings out they're still using the number so if you dont get a phone call in the next couple of days it's gone.
