Hi I've got about 15k max to spend on my first car. I'm looking at civic vti-r's and integra gsi, the vti-r's I've seen have got too many km's on them... Are jazz's any good and are there any differences between the vti and vti-s besides the bodykit? What car do you recommend me get that is fun to drive but not too old? :)

Your best bet would be to do an advanced search at CarSales (http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/search.aspx?__N=1246+1247+1252+1282&adv=1&Distance=25) - it will eliminate/add cars to your list of potential cars to purchase.

The only reason I'd suggest doing the advanced search is because it all depends on what you are after. Also depending upon your RTA and whether you are full-license or probationary changes whether you can drive turbos and/or the power-to-weight ratio (if you live in Victoria for example).

Personally out of the cars you listed, I would choose the Civic or the Integra over the Jazz, I'm not a huge fan of the Jazz, but each to their own

Good luck and enjoy it, purchasing your first car is always an awesome experience :D

No matter what people say on here, no amount of research you do will be as good as getting out there and test driving a bunch of cars to really get a feel for them.

Best thing you can do is get yourself a list of cars you're interested in, then go and inspect them/test drive them to see how they feel to you and how well you like the drive in each of them.
