Philip Lee

haha i was being sacastic about the price.... at least they're aluminium finish and geniune. i saw a few unbranded onest that cost even more....

I think Honda has window visor, from memory they're less than $200 as a set of 4.

don't think they have door sills tho.

For the Door Under Garnish (Mugen Door Sill), it's priced at 9,450 yen (around $120) in Japan. But you can't say anything if you buy it from company that orders the thing for you from Japan, they certainly get money off you....

I have no idea of the price for Mugen Window Visor in Australia....sorry!! From Japan, it costs about $160.
I have got the Honda's Window Visor, they are not bad but obviously Mugen's one is much smarter. I think if you order it in, you should look at about $250..... I think not worth it.

david, i think it's best to do research off internet and find out what's the item you really want. then ask around the shops for a price including shipping (also fitting if necessary). also compare the time to get the items too becos they can vary and the price might reflect it (eg. air freight is more expensive but quicker). the problem with tune shops is that not many places actually stock things for our Jazz and may required ordering. so it might be hard to see sample etc. you may also want to ask around here as someone might have bought it before and would have opinion on them.

thanks

i think some can order from them directly but i hope you know Japanese.....

the biggest aust supplier for Jazz accessories would be Honda Australia. unfortunately Jazz are not sold here in great numbers so not many coy will stock much. most are by order only.

there are certainly some companies that make other accessories but since they're not that big (compare to Mugen etc), the best way to find small coy would be on Yahoo Auction Japan.

Hey! I bought the Honda's Window Visor today from Southside Honda, Brisbane! YEAH!! And I also got a staff price and only cost me $75.5 per set of 4!!! What a surprise! (I can get the staff price because i bought my jazz form the same dealer! But i think they can't remember me anyway. So next time, if u need to buy any honda accessories, just tell lie that u bought your car from the same place and the dealer said can give me anything in staff price..... etc )

The visor come with a box, and the package is included 4 window visors, 4 pieces of alcohol wipes for cleaning and installation instructions!!

http://img109.exs.cx/img109/610/WindowVisor3.jpg

The instruction is very clear, and it give me a very good method to stick it on!
http://img109.exs.cx/img109/5332/Stickingmethod.jpg

And the other surprises is, the invoice list the follow:
Unit List Price: $75
Unit Net Price: $69 :arrowl:  :!: :!: :!:
(Price Before GST)

Here is the southside honda, brisbane, Parts Department Telephone number: (07) 3249 6477

By the way, i saw the 05 Jazz at the dealer place! the rear spolier is same as 04 GLi/VTi. but the front skirt is different. the stereo is changed, but i like the 04 jazz style. The only think i like is the change gear button. 04 model that is in the front of the wheel, but the 05 model is on the back of the wheel, like Ferrari F1 style!!

I also check the price of shift knob surround and the bonnet protector, they cost $3x and $5x (staff price!! in Southside Honda, Brisbane) so cheap~!

i wanna change the shift knob surround to the grey colour, but i don't know how to take the shift knob out!!

I may get the bonnet protector later!! but i don't know do i need to drill some holds on the bonnet in order to fit the protector or not! it no need, i will buy it!!

They didn't check the computer to confirm that i bought my car form them or not! ha ha!! when i arrived there, i went to the dealer, but not to the parts department, and then told him that i wanna buy parts and want discount. He just rang to parts department stright away and told them to give me discount on any parts without checking any things!!

yes! the only think i can do is changing the looking!

When u ask for a discount, they usually will give u and tell u that is a cost pirce. but acutally they have another price is called NET price, which is lower then the cost price!!

As i said b4, when i look at the invoice, it listed the Net price of the Window visor is $69 (before GST).

So, next time, as for the NET price!! ha ha!!! :D

the 05 Jazz VTi-s have differen skirts compare with the current one, but the rear spoiler is same as the current GLi or VIT (the small one), that means even u buy 05 Jazz VTi-S, u don't have the big spoiler!! :thumbdwn: and the wheel cover also changed (the old one is better)!!

i think they already have the 05 Jazz accessories, because when i asked for the window visor, the staff asked me i need the old one or the 05 model one! But finally, he find out that the 05 model window visor is same as the old one!

Mugen one ..... i still figure it out how to install it.........
the instruction is all japanese
anyone got some link to teach how to install?

Here is how I did it.
1. pull the rubber seal off the windows
2. put the clips in place
3. stick the visor on the right spots (make sure the screw holes on the clips matches with the on on the visor)
4. then put the rubber seal back in place
5. screw in the screws

dont' know if this help :o

DavidLing

i though all the window visor are simply using double side sticky tape to stick on the door (Honda one is like that)!! The Mugen one is too trouble to install then. if i didn't put the rubber in the right place stably, water may go into the car when raining!!

its sounds hard, but it isn't that hard when u comes to do it. coz all the slots for the rubber are set. its just a matter of putting them back in place.

I think it depends on how low u open the windows!!

You can only open the window for as low as the shield can sort of cover up the gap between the glass and the frame of window.
