gonna freshen up my steering gear in my ek, been an annoying crunch since i bought the car so hopefully i can get rid of that
not to mention my tie rods are over 200,000k old and could do with a replacement(found out i had split boots last night too)

now the question is the ek steering rack, easy to remove?
from what i can see there is;
4-5 bolts and pull out the stiffener plate
4 bolts holding the rack on to the subframe
2 bolts for the u-joint joining the pinion to the steering column
and what appears to be like 2 powersteering lines from the pump to the rack

anything else i'm missing? going through the manual thats about all the steps i need to take to remove the rack itself(excluding removing the inner and outer tie rods)

will also be swapping the pinion (http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2422762&highlight=steering+rack) from a dc2 to get a faster L2L in the process, see how that goes
