Hi all
just signed up for a cu2 lux auto silver build date 10/08.
Hoping to pick it up next week. Just looking at insurance and it's not cheap compare to my accord vti bought last yr.
Always been with AAMI but budgetdirect seems to be the cheapest with 24 month new car replacement and chose own repairer (?)
has any one had any experience claiming thru them before?any tips will be nice.

By the way I knew about the potential engine ping problem but the car is just too perfect in every other way so will take the chance. It comes with 5 yrs Honda warranty so should be ok.

Haven't been with them personally but my brother was with them and apparently it was crap. I wound up with AAMI in the end... approx. $1300 comprehensive.

I am with RACQ, $580 a year - rating 1 for life. Shakkas, it will cost you big $$$$ for the WRX.

I guess I will go for AAMI then, only extra $100. Close to 1k for me and slightly cheaper than gio

Territory Insurance Office. I pay about $750 PA with full lifetime NCB, no driver age restriction and $300 excess. Insurer is an NT Government owned company that doesn't insure outside the NT unless you're a key customer with lots of business with them. They used to insure my house in Adelaide though.

$500 for me.

If there is someone under 25 driving my car, then it is $500 + 500.

Wow!

Some people are paying heaps for their insurance.

I'm with AAMI and pay $478. However, the excess is $2,000. Never had an accident in my 10+ years of driving so I'm happy to have the higher excess.

Been doing that for the last 6 yrs until damaged the bumper of my accord last yr and cost $1000 for the panel. Wished had lower excess.
I have been told similar repair in euro will be doubled.

Done through Westpac Insurance ( IAG) quoted $560 in WA. Under 25 Driver access $350. Come with 3 yrs replacement if done under 50K in 3yrs. 1 free windscreen claim per year. The same quote from GIO cost 760....
