KPRO and Immobilizer

I've read when you use an ECU that doesnt originally belong to your car, once kproed the immobilizer and keyless entry wont work anymore.

A solution I've found is you can bring your car back to Honda to get the ECU remapped to get the keyless entry working again by entering your VIN into some sort of honda diagnostic tool that connects by ODBII.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

Nothing new here...
You'll need to have your laptop handy to turn the imobilizer on through the K-manager software at the dealership, then they can use the Honda tool to recode your keys & ECU.
Be sure to have both sets keys with you & some dollars...
