I'm thinking of buying either one or two of these for my Civic Hatch - Then attaching them to either the 'behind' of the back seats or on the sides of inside the hatch. How would I get that to work? :) Is it pretty much find a way to attach them to either side (if I had 2) then connect them to an amp which is also connected to the currect audio system?

why not buy a sub and "normal" box?

Most are powered, with the amp built in.

So I'd basically have 2 tube woofers attached in the hatch and both plugged into the head unit?

Doesnt sound as nice as a sub n amp combo.
Subwoofers with integrated amplifiers dont perform as good.
Just because its in a tube form, doesnt mean itll create better bass.
A sub with a computer designed/tuned box is better.
Not a good idea to connect 2 subs with integrated amplifiers, unless it has a line in and line out.
Even then, youd rather opt for dual subwoofers in a box + amp system.

Dude im running 130watts rms. Trust me. If youre just looking for "some bass"
150-200watts is more than enough.
Ive had a 1500watt rms system. Running 2 batteries and 1 10farad capacitor.
I had 4 amps to run each channel, plus the ginourmous amp to run the sub. A total of 5 amps. All this was in an eg civic.
1500watts was over kill. My rear view mirror shifted everytime a bass note hits, and that was at half volume.
You have to consider what you want. Sound quality or sound pressure. SQ or SPL.
Having big bass and sh!tty high frequency speakers will kill the point of having a sound system.
Having bass drown all treble doesnt sound good.
I had to run 100watts rms to each speaker to overcome the 1500watts rms.
And to give you an insight. For amps. There is no such thing as "Peak music power"
Amps are only rated in RMS, with the different ohm rating. Only subs/speakers have "peak power".

Think I'll have to go in to a shop and check out/sample the selection to be sure

The JBL bass tube is Passive.
It requires an amp. There rated at 250W RMS @ 4ohm.
I have fitted many of those bass tubes and you wouldnt believe how good that one sounds. Also its very light in weight. It comes with 2 adjustable straps to mount in the car.
Active tube like the Fusion ones aren't good.
Hope this helps
