2 x speaker and Sub recommendation!

What would you recommend? Budget for sub is around $200-300, speakers prob around the $300.

I reckon you should save up a bit more if you're aiming to get a speaker and sub.

Of course you'll need a decent amp too. What's your current setup?

2 channel alpine amp, 2 speakers forgot brand, but yeh I don't think 2 channel amp can fit a sub. :( I have to check what speakers I got tomorrow then I get back to you.

you've got a fair amount of choices with that budget. too many to list so my recommendation is to simply pop into a specialist, then see & LISTEN to what they have on offer.

does that $200 include a box?

another question is are you willing to get another amp so you can:
a)use your current 2chan bridged for your sub, get another 2chan for your speakers
OR
b)use your amp for speaker duties, get another 2chan/mono for your sub

which alpine amp is it? more importantly, what impedance is it stable down to?

2 channel amp can fit the sub. Just have to make sure you by the right sub for the amp u got. As in the sub can take more than the amp puts out.
