Hey everyone

Just wanted to know if the 06-08 civic sport wheels will fit on 09 civic vti without voiding warranty? If not, anyone have a set they wanna get rid of? and are the civic sport wheels 16" or 17" ?

Cheers

Hey,

No as long as it's not more than 2 inches bigger than standard (15" on vti?) then you shouldnt have any probs. Honda told me that as far as the warranty goes anything that you modify will only void the warranty of associated parts. eg. if you lower the suspension then they wont cover if your other susp parts break etc.
But if you are putting honda wheels on then it will be no probs.

Hope that helps ya out, if not, have a chat to the guys at honda.

Just so you know the 06 Sports Rims are different to the 08. In design and size.

I thought 06-08 are the same design and the sport rim design only changed for the 09 models?

Nah, the 06 Model has a diferent design (Well my 06 FD Sport was). 07/08 have the EP3R design.

06 was 16' and 07/08 was 17'. I believe.
Happy for someone to correct me though.

i actually asked the dealer the same question.. when i was getting the car serviced...and since the fd1 and fd2 has same suspension or wateva crap he was talking about.. it should be fine..
