Hi guys,

im about to make a purchase of the soft top conversion via topsonline.com

but there's 2 brands EZ ON and Robbins. I only have heard good things about Robbins top but never heard of EZ ON. Has anyone got this? I've searched on S2ki but not much results on EZ ON.

There's a price difference of US$285 (Robbin - $885 and EZ ON $600). My budget fits the cheaper one but if I have to I would buy the Robbin top but i have to get my car serviced soon $$ :( I have mortgage so my expenses are tight by the dollar and this is US$285 difference we're talking about...

I have fitted both, in my opinion robbins is better. Its a bit harder to install but the quality is better, slightly. Go for Canvas version.

Sorry just read the price diff, 285 U.S is too significant, as the products are not that far apart in looks and quality. Go EZ On and whack 285 U.S on your mortgage

i fitted the Ez on top for my S when I had it. Never really had an issues with it. Bought it cause it was cheaper than the robbins top. I opted for the canvas as it looked alot nicer than the normal material.

I think the straps on the Ez On are different to the Robbins soft top.

yeah, the robbin one is better than EZ ON but anyway, they both better than stock roof.

Looks better and last longer.

I called Nolan and said i was a trimmer. got quoted 1400 for a stayfast with glass and defroster. what a jib. online is the way to go.

Why do you want to buy 'in SYD not online'? Either way I expect it'll be coming from the US and you'll be paying for shipping. It's just whether or not you pay a premium on the shipping or not.

they have a melbourne branch lol. i called the melb store. if you buy the same online it'll be 700 or so for Robins and 500 or so for EZ on plus 164 for shipping. comes alot cheaper than 1400 or so for one from here. that's more than half the installation cost saved.

I would contact Ferrari on this forum if you're looking for cheaper installation than what others charge. I wouldn't wanna be liable for any damages it may cause. But tell you what, this was the biggest & first thing I have done to my S. I was really contemplating if I should pay someone to get it done professionally or give it a shot myself. Long story short, I did it with the help of my old man, and took us 8 hours of tears and sweat (as it was hot summer January), and finally got it done. If you wanna give it a shot yourself, let me know and ill try to find the links I had from s2ki and the manual to make it easier for u.

Cheers
