rear EG6 shock bush need sand?

hi~ i got a EG4 atm and i just did the eg6 rear lca converion with the DC2R ball bearing style suspenion on it~ but since i tried to put the shocks into the LCA, i discover the bushes of the shock is too thick! ( like 3-4mm thicker)~

i just shave and sand the bushes about 3mm, but is it normal? because i read many threads before and never had 1post mention aobut it~

seems my car now drive alright but just want to make it clear~

front suspenion fit 100%

and i discovered that DC2R suspenion really raise my height for 1 inch!OMG!

do believe u will have that problem trying to use '88 ED press steel rlca,are u sure they were from an EG6?

it is form a DC2R, i bought it form this forum member, as he told me it is off form DC2R and Dc2R=EG6 REAR LCA, so you think it is not form a EG6/DC2R but ED??

just saying thats what the ED/EF boys have to go thru to fit DC2R spec shocks into their pressed rlca's,maybe they are ED/EF items....

yes sway attachment point is same on both rlca if not identical

If you truly have eg6 or dc2r rear
Shocks and won't fit , you have been sold ef control arms , they are visually identical. Get a refund and get the proper thing.

You got EF8 or EF9 or DA6 rear lower control arm.

i bought it form the member of this forum but now he is not reply~so i will wait to see what i can do~but just wonder the performance of the Rear LCA will be the same as the real EG6/DC2R one? because i wanna put a dc2R rear sway bar on if the one i got now will fit~cheez

i installed the ebay stuff and low about 2.5 inch, and the DC2R suspenion raised about 1 inch more than the stock suspenion

i posted and asked before in ozhonda forum and many different comment about the DC2R, someone said it will lower 1 inch, someone said it will raise about 1 inch

and i did put the dc2R suspenion on a DC2 and a EG to do the compare

discovered that DC2R suspenion will lower DC2 about 1 inch

but DC2R suspenion will raise EG about 1-1.5 inch

because of the different weight of EG and DC2

and the good condition suspenion used on this test
