hey guys, is there a difference? i'm looking to get one from the states, but they are LHD cars, does it matter? as i always thought they are the same, but reading up on some ebay sellers, they said that you must specify if your car is LHD or RHD, can anyone clarify? thanks

yes there is difference.

the cut off will be different.

on RHD cars ir looks like this

\___\___

on the LHD cars itll be

___/___/

so instead of lighting up more on the kerb side you will light up more on the wrong side of road.

Exactly, if you get LHD projectors then you will be blinding every oncoming car in the other lane.

did it cost you much? RHD version cost so much more than LHD from what i can see on the web, but bloody hell that's bright, and very nice indeed

i got it when the dollar was strong.. dunno bout how much it is now.. it looks bright cause of the camera's exposure levels.. it's less brighter than that.. very minimal glare too..

no worries.. keep hunting for the headlights.. i'm sure there's cheaper ones.. from what i heard you can change the cut off plate yourself.. but you need to take the headlights apart..

btw u'll need to get a separate HID kit.. (assuming u're driving an fd as well) as the ones that came with the headlights are halogen H7 for low beams..
