Hi folks.
Just had my 80,000km service on my '06 Euro. Found out that I have a leaking air assist valve which needs replacing. The guy at the front counter wasn't ofay with what an air assist valve is, and his main point was that it is covered under warranty anywho. But can anyone shed light on what an air assist valve is? I take it that it was discovered as part of the valve clearance check at that service. I tried searching and couldn't find anything particularly.
He mentioned there must've been leaking coolant which was odd to me as well as the coolant level has never budged an inch since I got the Euro.
It's going to take 3 weeks to get a new one, and I was told I was fine to drive normally. I have a bottle of coolant anywho in case I need a top-up.
