G'day everyone

my name is Rick, currently 20 yrs old and living in SW victoria and now getting back into the honda's,
about 3/5 months ago i sold my first car to a relo of a member on here (who has a EG JDM), the car in question that i sold was a Silver 4 door ED Civic twin carbie, Was a great little car to learn how to drive in.

Then i went to a ST184 Celica 2.2lt which we painted black (looks tough but no powerrr!) so iv owned this car for around 16 months now, but i think its time to get something with some real balls.

So early next week my old man and I are heading down to melbourne to pick up a Gen II CRX, with the icing on the cake being it has a B16a1 in it, requires alittle body work (paint job and bumper fitting) but should hopfully get this Mean machine on the road.

So looks like back to Honda's i go :D

Will post up some pic's once i get it :D

Cheers

Rick

Not too keen on saying his name on a public forum but was recently on ebay.
But the CRX is silver (or half painted) with a Cyber body kit half fitted on it.

Problems When i Got it ( * = Completed )
*Battery Power Cable Running Next to Fuel lines
-Re-ran the Power Cable on though the middle and put quick release terminals on
*ECU Didn't Have any Covers over it at all (no top and bottom cover)
-Made my own covers for this with Plexi-Glass
Dodgy Alternate cable Twitched into the fuse box
-Soldered this properly
*Security System (viper) is half install and missing remote
Half Covered interior (poorly covered with Blue material)
*Indicators Not working. (completed 24/08/09)
-Was Missing its flasher can
*Aircon Disconnected but canister & piping still there
-Removed all this stuff
*Stupid Blue neons inside the car (and blue led in roof that cannot light anything)
-So Many Cable and crap not needed
*Removal of Metal Pedals (just put over the top of the rubbers)
*Get the Interior being the Same Color (completed 24/08/09)
Did about 80% of this today but pretty much complete

Requires a respray (half painted car and new front bar)
Removal of Various wires left over from other crap (security and unknown)
Various Missing Small Plastics (all covers and stuff like that)
Rear Hatch Needs a Respray (bit of rust on it)
Carpet Needs a proper fitting
Hole Cut out in the Dash (ment for a Gauge of some variety)
Battery currently in there refuses to Hold a Carge

UPDATE: 24/08/09

Today i was thinking what to do to the car ended up doing the following.

Filling a hole where the battery lived in the engine bay with some PVC pipe (75mm) gunna use it as a ghetto CAI, by going from the engine bay to behind the front bar

Also decide to Strip out the interior, was needing to do because i wanted to
get the interior plastics all the same color
http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/3341/bild0179e.th.jpg (http://img15.imageshack.us/my.php?image=bild0179e.jpg)

Here is the aftermath of me using some Vinyl paint, i used black satin, with
seems to resemble the store honda's color.
http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/2923/bild0190m.th.jpg (http://img193.imageshack.us/my.php?image=bild0190m.jpg)

Also discovered that the car was missing its Flasher Can for the indicators, so this was fixed up, but one from a laser in there

Not Much has changed just sourcing interior parts.

Been using this to Paint the Interior, Pretty easy to do, just lots of light coats
http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/1624/08262009018.th.jpg (http://img12.imageshack.us/i/08262009018.jpg/)
Really Like the blacky gloss colour of this orginally i was planning on just painting the dash and odd plasticsbut have decided to do every piece of plastic in the car this colour, should look sweet

http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/935/08262009017.th.jpg (http://img34.imageshack.us/i/08262009017.jpg/)

slowly fixed the hole in the dash, turns out the cut out was in the heater duct in the center of the dash
so using some gap filler, got a bit carried away and already sprayed half the dash,
would have done it all but the no more gaps, was still dryin (leaving it overnight)

Loving this satin Black Color :hinthint:
