Hi Guys,
Just came back home today and noticed that my rear drivers side door jamb had a nasty smash. It must have been some on trying to get out of the car park next me. Oh well I was pretty devastated at first and now want get my baby fixed up. Can any one recommend a good body shop/panel beater in Melbourne (eastern subs)?
Cheers

Don't you just hate that ! if you can choose to park next to nicer cars.. but then again, its these audis and bimmers with baby seats that are the ones slamming their doors into other peoples cars.. a classic today, at box hill central .. this guy was unloading this grocery into his dodge nitro, sht that is an ugly car, anyway he literally had this safeway trolley resting against the white civic next door. the owners of the civic arrived and the idiot didn't even say sorry and just moved the trolley, what a prick!

I had a similar incident with a stupid woman who put the trolley against my car, actually rubbing the car. When I confronted her about it, she simply replied in a snoobish way " I didnt scratch it or anything" She did actually scratched my car, but luckily it can be polished out.

No respect for other people's property at all.

I dinged the boot of my CU2 the other day while trying to juggle a 1U server and opening the bloody boot.

Sorry to hear about the car park bingle... I loathe shopping center car parks.

I had a near miss recently... Was barely in the shopping centre 10 minutes, and went back to my car... Some woman had parked so close to the driver's side of my car that I could not get in! And her car was just a friggin' (brand new looking) Yaris! I couldn't get in because the other side of my car was parked close to a column/wall, I'd parked it there on purpose to reduce the chance of dints on at least one side of the car. Her car was over the line, and on the other side of her car was a whole third of her car parking space - vacant.

Had to wait for friggin' 20 minutes until she came back. She seemed to not to notice me standing there looking rather P'd off - I said to her next time be more courteous and leave other people enough room to get into their cars, and she said, "Oh, but I just drove straight in." I said good for her, leave more space, and just as well for her she didn't hit my car. She said "Sorry" in a fake sort of way, got in her car and left... Peasant. Unbelievable how useless some people are with cars.

Close call though.

That's a lot less worse than my situation.

A month after getting my cu2 lux, i had some #@!$ decide to take a walk over the car while it was parked in the city.

I was driving home and noticed a faint footprint on my windscreen. Then on closer discovery when i got home, i found an imprint on my boot, 3 on the roof and one on the bonnet.

I refuse to park in car parks full stop. Most of the time it is much safer to park in the street and walk a short distance, although it has its drawbacks occasionally.

Sheen panels bayswater. They did an excellent job on my Euro.
