Hey All

Just after confirmation, the photos below shows my original thermostate (left) which has the larger pipe cut which inturn does not leave enough meat for the hose to fasten onto so I purchased another thermno housing (right) as you can see the new one doesnt have the smaller pipe which goes to the fuel injection manifold (shown in photo below)

Can I use the 'new' (right) housing and block the smaller hose off from the manifold? or do I need to drill and fit the smaller pipe into the 'new' housing or fit the larger pipe (new - right) into my exisitng housing (left), regarding this, looks like they are pressure fits and very hard to pull out without damaging!

Any help appreciated

Cheers

the fast idle valve(thing that the hose connects too) will prob take a lot longer to close if it indeed ends up fully closing at all without decent coolant circulation/air pockets/etc to it.

dont really need the next connection to the normal idle valve on back of manifold here in aus,but id prob try to get a connection to the fast idle valve happening.

u can always try it first i spose to see if idle will stabilise, but i guess that means just double stuffing around if it doesnt
