View Full Version : looking at this off ebay (extractors)

hey guys, i found this off ebay, i have a stock eg vti civic and was wondering if its worth purchasing this off ebay, is there anything different to these and to the stock ones car? and im looking at upgrading the exhaust to a bigger size so should i wait as the other end of the extractors might not be the same size.

looks ok should be fine give a little bit more power :) and defo different to the stock ones on the car.

should fit onto the stock cat fine and upgrade the piping size to 2.25 :)

wldnt waste ur time or money for ebay headers.. may not line up properly and gasket will probably give in 500km. the cost to modify to fit will probably cost more than the header itself

I don't trust it because it's specifies that the headers are for the EG5/EH9 and the ED9/EF7 even though the civics have the SOHC engine and the CRXs are all DOHC. The headers shouldn't fit both I don't think.

err........ so wat??? they are still all D-series regardless of whether they are DOHC or SOHC

I would question the validity of a product if the producing company isn't even aware that the CRX is DOHC instead of SOHC. And I was under the impression that the headers are not interchangeable between D/S-OHCs.

i would question everything about a header that was under $200. as u can see in my previous post, i strongly advise NOT to get this header

lol it says 8 to 12hp increase, ahha dont buy it. they will tell you anything to make a sale.

arn't those ebay headers jst stock headers with a chrome finish?
