Pulled towards VTEC

Hi Guys,

Been signed up for abit here but really roamed around the forums.

I originally owned a Subaru WRX, which pulled 220kw atw's.

But was pulled in towards VTEC LOL.... Now i currently own a CTR 07 model.

Great car and a fun as hell to drive. At the moment stock as a rock but big plans for it to come

Might even make a build tread

well the WRX was way faster then my CTR at the moment

also its stock as a rock but in saying that the CTR is so much more fun to drive =]

How do you find the battle is stock from stock (fuel economy, maintenance, looks, etc)

CTR vs WRX major differences

Fuel Economy is major difference and is saving me quite abit now adays as I drive a fair bit for work now adays

Looks: CTR 07 looks so much more sexy then my WRX 02

Torque: I miss the torque you get from the turbo's

Maintenance: I find the CTR having a fair few problems in general (not sure if its because of it being brand new or this model was made poor) have taken the CTR back to the dealers for warranty issues a fair few times... which i'm not too happy about

I'm personally a old school enthusiast and the newer build of Honda's scare me a little (various complaints)

since i got this CTR i've had problems galore and its a brand new car!!!!!!!
dont know if this gen was just a FAILED gen or something but i still love driving it...... yes i know im contradicting myself but yeah its weird

should of gotten the jap spec... its heavier, less torque and inside is shit house aye..

welcome to Ozhonda mate, good to see you have come to the Honda side. As previoiusly said I also prefer the older hondas but I wouldnt say no to a CTR if someone offered me one :)
