Does anyone know how to reprogram a remote, I bought one from the US with a boot release and was wondering if its possible to reprogram to suit the MY05 models?

I have a set of instructions which worked for programming a new OEM remote on my 02 DC5, it also works for the Euros. PM me your e-mail address and I'll send it off to ya.

AFAIK it wasnt possible to have a remote boot release for the Facelifted DC5's? And Im pretty sure their Acura RSX's didnt have boot release on the transmitters either.

Would be interested to see if it could be done though.

BTW what car did you get the remote from?

No go with the 'new' remote that i purchased from ebay. I believe it came off a CRV.

Thanks Randalln for providing the instructions it worked a charm with the existing remotes.
