Does anybody have any experience with these (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HONDA-CIVIC-CRX-D15-16-MUGEN-QUALITY-MANIFOLD-EXTRACTOR_W0QQitemZ370245358661QQcmdZViewItemQQptZ AU_Car_Parts_Accessories?hash=item563457d445&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14) headers?

I don't really know because they're being sold on ebay for a start, and I haven't heard anything of the brand. Although they are nice and shiny :)

Has anybody used them before? Let me know what you think...
Andy.

I'm not gonna buy them, just curious if anybody has experience with them. My EF8 has RS*R headers and I'm just gonna leave my EH VTi (my daily driver) standard because it's SOHC and getting N/A power out of it is pretty much futile :D

Will post pics of my CRX a little later when I'm on my home computer (laptop atm) but there's a couple of older/crappier pics here (http://firesport.com.au/fs-17-avantek-rims-wheels-shock-brakes--ad138607.htm) where I was selling some spare rims.

17's were too big for the EF8 by proportion so it's now running around on genuine 14" watanabe light weights :)

well these headers suck, if they were good everyone would buy them and they would go up in value, oem is better than this probably.

Im looking into buying a header aswell. The only problem ive really heard about these 'monsta' headers, is the collector, nothing a dremel cant fix though.... & dont be suprised if, after a couple of months, the stainless starts looking crap, if your worried about that though just coat them with some hi temp paint, or heat wrap them...

Alot of the d-series guys in the states use Megan headers, great quality too. Im looking at grabbing some of them, but its the shipping that kills the cost, unless you can find an australian distributor of Megan products...

they are alright as stated just clean up the collector but defo a gain in them, and if they tarnish clean them up with chemi weld cleaner.... but dont get it on your hands it will eat them.... :P

Hehe thanks guys. Like I said I wasn't going to buy a set because it's not worth it for the D16Y1 coz its SOHC but I was just wondering if anybody had used them before since they're cheap :)

Hey guys, I was just checking out the XForce headers on their website (uh-oh, they look shiny!) and I was wondering how much they retail for? I've never really looked into buying their products.

For the D16Y1. $260 I think somebody said?

Have you tried a local exhaust shop, they may have a cheap alternative?

I put Hurricane Hedders (Liverpool) on my old D16y1. For the price it was a great upgrade for a stock motor, made the Vtak so much louder.

Yeah I might check the local joint but not until next year I think...I was driving the Black Spur yesterday and my tranny shat itself...might be a new gearbox job :(
