does any1 know if there are differences between the JDM CL7 rims and our 17inch sport rims besides the color being gunmetal...is it made out of same material, any lighter?

Looks quite aggressive, theres a set on sale in ebay..dont kno if it is worth buying tho because shipping is vert expensive!

Essentially not worth it in my opinion. If you are going to spend that much for the rims plus shipping, you might as well get something that would look better here, which are still JDM. I resulted in spraying my set in gunmetal. Hope that helps.

The only difference I can remember off the top of my head is that they are lighter. In my honest opinion, too much hassle. If you really like the rims, like myself, just get them powder coated gunmetal. Save yourself a tonne of money.

Wow, i just saw this thread again and decided to post.

Longers, ur rims are MUCH darker than teh JDM version. I wish there was one in the middle.....I kinda impulse bought some when i went over and DAMN it was teh biggest hassle EVER bringing them back. That being said, I reckon it was worth it! :P

Hey Ken, so you purchased the Euro R rims in the end?? How much lighter is it compared to the euro sport ones?? and do you think the Euro R rims would be around the same or much lighter than the 06' Lux 17"???

if you're really lucky you can get them for $80 which is what i paid :p But normally i suppose they do go for at least $500..they are one of the best looking oem wheels.

Honestly, I don't think they are lighter. If they are, itd be marginal, but I haven't really compared it to the normal 05 ones. I don't know, but my thought was that they are the same, and just coated in gunmetal colour. But they were about 10kgs each.

Ahh I see thanks anyways!!...I guess thats still a huge improvement over the weight of the lux wheels.....read somewhere on the forum that it is in the regions of 23kgs including tyres :P

Yer....He sed the JDM Rims were 10kgs each, which is heaps lighter than the Euro 03 rims...Now the euro 03 being 16 inches thats why its bigger than the JDM which is 17.......

im pretty certain that the 16s weigh less than 10kgs..do a search as its been covered before and ive weighed them with tyres, approx 16kgs.
the 17 audm sport rims weigh about 10kgs also based on what ive read in an old thread..same as the jdm ones which makes financial sense for honda! change de colour and people will think its special superlite racing rims :)

Stock Euro 03 rims without tyres are about the same or lighter than 10kg.
