Hey Gals and Guys,

I'm starting to look for a brand I'd like to buy parts from, more specifically a brand to buy internal parts from.

So a few questions I have are:

1a) What should I look for in a company to give a more clear idea of who to go with?

My top 3 are:

Crower
Spoon
Skunk2

And I just based these 3 on them being a known, quality brand name and amount of parts available.

1b) Is there much of a distinction in performance between brands?

2) Once a brand has been chosen to go with, should one stick to this brand and not mix parts between brands? (silly question?)

3) Am I better off acquiring parts myself and then taking them to a shop to install and tune, or just give my car to a shop and let them source parts etc?

I'm just after a bit of information so I can choose what direction I'd like to go. Thanks in advance!

I've considered TODA but not jun, but I have no reason why I wouldn't go with either those brands. I know they are reputable.

I'm also undecided on kepping it NA or doing a turbo build, nothing totally crazy just looking for a bit more oomph. I'm not sure if what I'm gonna say next is contradictory but what I want out of the car would be a kinda all rounder, something reliable but also something with balls. It will be my daily (untill I can afford K20 build (atleast 5 years :P)) but also would like to take it down the 1/4 and take it for a strap round a track.
