i was just wondering whats wrong with my jazz vtis07, everytime i drive it after 3000rms in gear 2 and 3 it tends to shake quiet alot.
i asked honda what was wrong and they said it was my aftermarket exhaust but it never seem to shake before and ive had my exhaust for over 6months.
feels like my car is gonna blow up.
i have a 5ziger exhaust.

thanks alot

Your cvt requires recalibration.

Your cvt requires recalibration.

What makes you think it's a CVT. ?

CVT fluid internal is at 40,000kms.

have you changed your CVT fluid?

it's manual, no cvt.
I don't think it's the exhaust either.
Something has gone wrong during the last service.

Is the whole car shaking? or just the steering?

hard to tell you whats going on..better go to honda dealers as you should have 5 years warranty.

is it only happen in 2 n 3 gear what 4 5 and 3000 rpm? what about more rpm.
could it be the fit of your muffler one of the holding rubber lose or what? have a look underneath. as your car only done 50k the car should be still in good condition (mine done 75k still doing good-touch wood!!)

My bad. I thought i saw auto up there somewhere.

Check wheel balancing.
Check condition of your wheels. (rims). If you could. Observe the turning motion of the wheel as it goes around the balancer machine. You could have severely buckled rim.
Check condition of your driveshaft. (could be bent, I dont know how but it does cause alot of vibrations if it is slightly bent) (could have a torn boot and your driveshafts are bone dry and rusted, I have had one on a car, non honda, where the inner boot has lost all grease and the whole car wobbles (shakes) as you reach speeds of 40kmh+.)
Check engine mounts (very unlikely if youre constantly travelling, but a collapse or torn engine mount, especially rear engine mount, can cause the engine to shake quite a bit on take off and backing off)

alright thanks.
i got all 4 new tires today, wheel balancing etc. still shaking.
i might take off my exhaust and put my stock one on, then take it to honda to get it checked out.

hey! i think i found whats wrong with my car.
well the other day i went to go change my break pads at the Tyre factory, they called me up and told me i need to machine my breaks or something i have no clue what they did or what it is but it cost me 75bucks and now the car shaking is pretty much gone.

Good stuff mate, if your discs are old and worn they will shake, machining fixes it quick smart
