View Full Version : Anyone re-trimmed their door trims?
Sup everyone, anyone diy'd there door trims? I know aero has his material at home ready to go on but never heard from anyone else even thinking about changing their trim?
I've seen it taken off before (door trims etc) and i watched him unclip everything and then i tried with the next door but when myself and aero tried it again couldn't budge the trim ie - scared of pulling too hard and ripping it lol! (because not sure where the clips are etc)
So! Anyone done this? + what's an easier way of remembering which lines go where etc? i was thinking of sticky tape n marking the sticky tape? so i remember where the lines go

Your hotmail didn't work so i sent it to your uni email.
yeh cheers man! i've got basketball in an hour and need to fix my cast-net as well lol for fishing 2moro so i'll get onto it next week of day off uni =]
ill be getting my car back tomorrow, so i may wanna have a try too, depending how successful .k. is :p
what do u mean depending on how successful i go? i rock at car trims last time couldn't even get it off to begin lol..
from what i've read around on 8th there's a lot of plastic rivet like things holding on the factory fabric crap so have to drill through them all sigh.. definitely doing a rear one first haha

plastic rivets are ftl. Makes ur life a million times harder
this is hot stuff....keep this thread updated!
plan is to go through the acura manual or my own and see if it says how to take the trim off properly.. then its just a matter of taking off lots of screws, drilling through plastic rivets to get them free and then fabric change.. really shud be studying for my midsems tho haha
