hey fellas..
anyone know that weight of the EG sedan and the Eg hatch and the EK coupe? i want to know the weights of these cars WITHOUT an Engine.. just the weight of the body... AND.. what is the weight of the B16A engine alone..???

I think your asking a lil too much and a little too vauge?

Just the body? do you mean full trim? ie.. seats carpet, dash, deck, climate unit ?
Do you mean to include gearbox, linkage, wheels.. suspension.. arms?

No one would ever take out an engine and weigh a car.. they all have slightly different weights anyway..
for example, EG civic breeze is the lightest due to no power windows, mirrors, no rear discs, smaller master cylinder blah blah... as aposed to a VTi which has a sunroof, full electric options etc etc...

Good luck finding an answer...
Ive looked and found very varing information...figures ranging from high 800s to low 1000s for EGs..

Putting things like an amp, sub, new speakers etc in a car will change the weight too.. so its not really important..

if your really want to know, do your conversion and then go to a weighbridge..

haha yea sorry.. yea i jus wanted to know the weight of the tock car without engine.. so that would include like seats, dash, deck, climate unit, wheels.. all of it... haha.... and with the different types like vtir, gli and stuff like that, im really only looking for an average... thanks

I book that came with my car, its got the weight of all the cars... all u gotta do then i guess is find out the weight of each engine and take it away from orrig number
