Just weighing up options, I will need to return the EG to stock in order to get it over rego, will EK standard parts work?

no ek parts will not directly bolt up.
The suspension , while the FRONT will fit it is slightly longer and will give the wrong ride height etc. The rear will not fit at all.

Get EG or DC2/4 shocks and springs.

that's not entirely true is it Ben?
The rears don't fit due to the fork size which can be corrected by wearing down the bush on the EG LCA. May not be the best but if it's only a quick and cheap solution for a rego/RWC, it should be ok right?

As i stated -

Swapping the shock itself or shaving LCA bushes is not a quick fix to simply pass rego. IT leaves the cost for new LCA's ! It will work tho....

Still recommend doing it the right way tho.

are springs interchangable?? i understand there would be different ride height. so am i right in saying eg springs would be lower in an ek??
