hey guys, im having awsome amounts of trouble with my immobiliser, its not a factory one but i thought you guys might be able to help out, i basically cant open the drivers door or start the car if i get in the passengers door, i found the alarm box and it has plugs going into it that i can take out, does this mean if i just unplug the wires it will disable the car alarm? or if i unplug them will the alarm go off forever? this was installed by jbhifi so i cant find out what theyve done.
all this because the remotes are ****ed

i had the same problem, i wouldn't try to disconnect the alarm just incase. many are designed to immobilize the car when components of the alarm are disconnected.
i muted my alarm with the alarm key and took it to car audio excellence and got a different new alarm installed. but considering you cant even start the car you may have to call a mobile electrician if no one else can help you
