Ok first of all i bought a partially full Energy suspension master bushing kit for my EG this morning, when i picked it up i realized it was originally for an EK. The kit was missing Front and Rear LCA bushings which i knew about and i got the kit for a really cheap price. The guy also said everything fits on the master bushing kit from an EK on the EG, only difference is the LCA bushings which are already missing from the kit.

If someone can confirm this is correct that would be great. This is what the Ek kit came with new originally from energy suspension:

Front control arm bushings - Missing
Rear control arm bushings - Missing
Front shock bushings,
Front & Rear sway bar bushings
Front & Rear coil spring insulators
Rear trailing arm bushes
Steering rack bushings,
Transmission shifter stabilizer bushings (manuals)
Rack & Pinion bushings
Ball joint Boots
Tie rod end boots.

pictures:

These are the masterset bushings i got off the guy for cheap, i can only recognize the front swaybar bushings. The rest i dont know what are for what, if someone could help me with that also that would be great.

Also i need to have some sort of list of the complete bushings on an EG so i can go through and mark off what i need and what i dont.

I have recently purchased MPR rear lower control arms, Whiteline xtraheavy duty rear sway bar, Skunk2 front and rear Camber kits, G4 Coilover suspension and Replica Cusco front and rear strut braces.

So i wont need some bushings as they come with some of the suspension parts i already have.

I want to replace every bushing in my car besides the engine mounts as i wanna keep them oem and they have already been replaced 1 month ago.

Im buying the left over bushings from here: http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/products.asp?cat=Honda+Civic+1993

can someone help me sort all this out...

my random thoughts:

1. Energy Suspension and Prothane make master kits which will be much cheaper than piecing individual parts.

2. Prothane bushes tend to be only made in a single durometer.

3. The web site your are looking at can supply Prothane. I don't know why they push ES. A business decision probably.

4. The soft ES bushes tend to 'oval' far too quickly. Prothane is harder and hence stiffer and noisier. Lube em and put up with it IMHO.

Reply to your thoughts:

1. As i've explained above i had already purchased a master kit for less than half the price which was only missing the front LCA bushings and the steering rack bushings. Plus the Master kit doesnt come with Rear Trailing Arm Bushings, Rear Compensator Arm Bushings, Tie rod ends, Front sway bar bushings (not linkage bushings), Upper control arm front and read bushings and upper ball joint. which besides the LCA bushings The Rear Compensator and Trailing arm bushings are the most important. I've quoted it all up so far and in the end every single bush on my car excluding the engine mounts will end up costing me $280 and i will replace them myself. The eneregy bushing master kit which i explained is missing a huge amount of stuff costs $264 inc delivery and thats from energy sus australia.

2. what do you mean in single durometre?

3. Im only getting prothane bushings.

4. Yeah I've heard this to be the ongoing theory but theres guys on here saying they have had them 5 years on a daily driver and there still fine...

Don't replace your ball joint boots unless they are torn (in which case the joint is probably a goner); especially not with the garbage that ES calls a boot.
