B16 Idle @ 3-4 rpm????

hi, my cars been a little funny lately.
i've got a b16 with type r internals..
also i just installed a whale penis
my idle at the moment normally is 3-4 rpm, i hate it, it's so loud and people think my cars like fully worked. It turns heads like no tomorow but i don't like it. i also got a straight pipe on, this makes it even more louder.

anyone know what the problem is?

check your vacume lines,
if all good, also there i a scew on the TB where you can adjust idle

Fix your ignition and idle timing. Change it by computer or from the dis cap I think.

How about your accelerator spring, if you pull your accelerator towards your drivers seat with your hand do the rev's drop?

clean your IAVC i think its called LOL... mine was like that aswell but since i tuned my car is better happens odd times so give it a clean should be fine :)

take off the whale penis and put your hand over the t/b. If the car doesnt die, you have a bad vacumm leak somewhere on the manifold
