I have heard before that tdc on other motors is where the no.1 piston it at its highest possible point, at the moment i have my head off and im trying to put the pistons at tdc before i put it back on, but im trying to avoid removing the timing belt.
Is it the same on hondas that tdc is where piston no.1 is at its highest possible point?? When i took the head off, i aligned the cam gears to tdc though when i got the head off, piston no.1 was about an inch lower than its highest possible point.
Really the answer im after is can i set tdc without taking the timing belt off?
