Honda Key Chipped

Are all Honda Keys chipped?

And is there a way to tell if the key is chipped without putting it into the ignition?

Im not to sure about models 01+ but anything below is defiantly not chipped.

if you mean chipped as in has a immobiliser chip in the key, ek's have chipped keys. eg's didnt. not sure about preludes or tegs

our dc2r 1999 has chipped key, and a fren's late 95 early EK had the same key also. Dash cluster has the green key symbol to indicate immobilisation.
