I want to take the rear wiper arm off to give it a coat of black paint. I have removed the 10mm nut, but the bastards just not coming off. I just hope the front ones arent as difficult...
Do i have to go inside to remove the wiper motor or something??

nah u dont need to remove anything else besides that 10mm nut. mine was stuck too its just a pain to get off. try abit of wd40, maybe give it a bit of a knock with some wood to loosen it up and just pull the focker lol

yup had the same problem, bitch to get off. since i was removing it, i unbolted the motor from the inside and banged it out with a rubber mallet.

only take off that 10mm bolt, then just keep wiggling it out... should pop out...

me and ek1_D did it last week on both our ek's we just yanked it really hard with our hands while spinning it anti clock wise and it popped off easily. If you where in sydney I would have been more than happy to meet up and take it off for you.

if all your doing is giving it a nice new black look just take off the rubber blades, get newspaper down over the windscreen and bonnet area and start spraying lol, thats what i did

I think you should actually turn the whole wiper arm anti-clockwise once you removed the nut inside the plastic cover.
That's what I did to mine when I was removing it. No need to remove the motor if you're just taking it out for a spray.

just keep on with the wiggling + wd40. it will come off :D it took me longer to take the plastic cap off that to take the wiper itself :D
