Hey Guys,

Should I buy this But I plan to use 3A Racing Pod or KN ?

i dont see the problem but its for US cars? so make sure it fits ours.
why not just buy locally? JDM yard or the other traders

With anything 'generic' listed on eBay for a cheap price - you can expect that exact quality (read: cheap).

Might not fit correctly without modification etc. Sometimes you win - sometimes you lose.

Yeah with stuff off ebay it's a risk. Might not be able to fit it on, might perform worse than what you have on it now.

For cold air intake, maybe try the DIY mugen-style ones?

How much is shipping? If they want US$25 for UPS ground, can't imagine how much they will charge for UPS international.

yeah about $100, gotta love ebay hope the pod isnt that crap tho. still might get 3a racing or kn if fitment is all good

well... look at it this way... when i first made my CAI i spent about $100 on pipes, hoses n clamps alone (bought it bit by bit)... so $100 for the whole assembly + a pod isnt too bad, just hope it fits well.

Also, it will look much nicer n neater in 2 pieces rather than about 4 like i had it

Hey dude

I got an SRI from same ebayer for my da9..

The pod is a joke, I didnt even fit it on I put a 3A racing one on I got from ebay for 50 shipped..

so it was 150 all up (with the 3a racing i bought seperately), and works great.. The second hose from the rocker cover doesnt fit, the hose they give you is cheap plastic and kinks, just replace the hoses to go on the body of the piping with quality hoses, and everything else fits well... so for 150ish can't really go wrong!

Hey Chris just what i wanted 2 know, thanks heaps for the feedback on the buyer, i knew the pod would be crappy. Did u get the hose from autobarn

yea!! go for it woop lol i bought a crappy ebay SRI for my f22B1 vtec when i had that it was alllll good
thought to myself meh not much to lose really its a bit of pipe+a bit of pipe

i got a CAI from ebay, cant complain. give the car increase of hp, and i can tell the difference from stock to cai.
go for it man, but yea its a win or lose.. but goodluck.

i juss ordered one for my EG ... only thing im worried about is the pod + hose quality ... but meh it was cheap enough so ill see how it goes wen i get it lol

mine cost me nothing, i got it from my cousin, he said he got it from ebay. and pretty much the same as the one from the link..

oh k sweet, is the installation just straight up replacement of oem filter. all i have 2 do is take out the front bumper for the pod ?

the installation is very straight forward u just take out the oem rubber pipe and the panel filter box out. then at the bottom of it there will be another box, which is u have to go under the car and unscrew the bolts. and from there u need a special tool to remove the bottom box (resonator box, correct me if im wrong not sure the name of that box below the panel filter box) or u can take out the front bumper if u like. then u need to blocked one of mini hose, this hose is connected to the oem rubber pipe to this small sensor. (i think). hope this helps u..

in my case i didnt have to take the bumper off.

in my case i didnt have to take the bumper off. i just went under the car n remove and the cover for the resonator box n u can access there easily.:D
