hey guys, i have a jbl four channel amp, everything is plugged in correctly, however one speaker wont bring out any sound.

if you have the audio on mute you can hear a buzzing sound comming from the speaker on the damaged channel indicating there is power comming from the amp, ive swapped the red and white wires over and the same problem occurs so i have narrowed it down the being the rear right speaker input of the amp.

im out of warranty on the amp, so is there anything else i can do? or somewhere that will fix it cheap?

depending on price and quality of amp not always worth fixing, buy a new one.

its fairly decent 80 RMS per channel, would be good fixed as i have a 2 channel kicker and im using only 2 channels of the jbl atm

you swaped the RCAs, so that rules out the headunit or the cables as the problem.

swap the speaker wiring. so left speaker is getting right channel and vice versa. if the same speaker doesnt work, its te speaker, if the other speaker doesnt work, its the amp.

the problem could be anywhere on teh amp, from the input side to the output side, and to fix it would probably be more than the price of buying a new one.

ring up jbl service department and ask them for a rough price, coz if you get it fixed by them, you should be given a warranty ont he repair.
