next engine upgrade

Have a semi stock 94 vti-r, the previous owner had an exhaust put on it but i cant find any indentifying marks on it. Looks and sounds like a cheap loud exhaust, also has stock headers on.
should i just do the headers or the whole system?

hmmm, most exhaust tips that workshop puts in for u aren't that bad quality, such as X-Force exhaust tips. the sh1t ones are the one from supercheap auto and ebay.

ur next upgrade would be headers... piping and cat i think, no point having a straight cannon exhaust tip if the front end is all stock, after u done exhaust upgrade then put in a cold air intake or intercooler. then it's done.....

Unless it was made custom. But in your case. Its very doubtful it is, if its running stock headers. possibly just a cannon, fart can.

Get something decent. With 2.25-2.5" piping and a highflow.
Depends what youre aiming for. Response, youd rather go with 2.25 and high flow.
low-mid range. 4-1 headers, hiflow and cat back. Or if you want nothing but top end. Tri-y headers with decat and 2.5" catback. Youll lose lowend (probably worse than stock) but gain alot of top end.

No need for intercooler. He aint turbo charging.
Air doesnt get that hot unless its being compressed.

get a new whole system, and part off what you have, im sure someone will want it even if its unbranded
