hi yall, welll dis fri, when going down springvale rd got down for being too low n brake lights not working. (minor) but what cracked me up is that i didnt get done for the b20 under the hood lol. funny as they thought my cai was a turbo. Well question is when i go into the rta today will they jus check the things i got defected for or everything? Lol cause my horn dont work. checked the engine bay fuse alrdy. what could be causing it? Well thanks. Peace.

If you've got the yellow sticker I'm pretty sure you need to get a roadworthy cert to clear the defect (maybe only applies to major defects), in which case you will have to get the horn fixed.

well Vicroads only checks for the things you got busted for and it's minor defect i don't think you need a road worthy cert for it.... just fix the problem they mention and bring it back to vicroads..

If ur minor, no certificate is needed.
VicRoads makes sure that all things u were defect'd for are back to normal standard.

Btw curious, do you ever try toot at people for doing some stupid shit? Eg cutting u off?

Then realize it doesn't work?

they give u the notice and indicate if you need rwc or not. they could if its a tight ass check under your bonnet. if they do then i'll hear a fml

lol simbada mate, how u trying help mate, when the only thing u said was, i ws fukd n assumed my zorts was too loud. Lol which it isnt cause i got a shitty 1.5 inch welded exhaust lol. Cause im pov. Well thnkx to all that did help.

i dunno if you have had the check or not but here is a nice piece of info i think everyone will find useful

ur defect gets put into a register type system and goes on file, if you get pulled up again, the first thing the cop looks for is the stuff they defected you on last time.

I got defected on window tint (5%), rims too big, car too low and too loud and just to top it off bald tyres at rear from camber wear.

even after i put stock exhaust back on, the next time i was pulled over he wanted to hear the exhaust and check the motor, and checked to see all the other things were in order aswell.

it does get a lil frustrating being pulled over, but acting dumb helps your cause sometimes too coz the cop usually has half the knowledge u have.

Lolz at this..... my friend acted dumb on a Evo 8 getting saying "I just got the car from private sale, used and I dont know whats been changed from stock" Cops said well.... come to the checking station we will find out. Lolz

Although i havent been there, is one at Sydney with mechanics checkin!!! Some cops are not smart but the goverments are. =)

Cars get defected for a reason. What people are saying now is that be nice and maybe cops wont be that harsh on you.

When theres a group of people involve in a incident cops would normally target the loud mouths and smart asses. It's true! say nothing and cops would be like "what cute asian man" say something then cops would be like... F-ing asian wat do you expect.
