hey all, i recently had a lead issue that the leads i purchased for a d15 were different and wrong because my car is an import, so it got me thinking, will there be differences in my new gearbox? is the jdm and aus version of the d15b gearboxes different? as i just purchased a second hand gearbox and just want to make sure its going to fit my jdm motor.

anyone know?

Yes should fit but might be different gear ratios/final drive.

your engine should be pretty much the same as the AUS spec
D16y1 except for 100cc

well it says on the gearbox tag from hondwrreck, for d15b and d15z, but im assuming there aus models, arnt they different to the jdm models?

gear ratios? is that something to worry about? what can happen if they are different?

d15b/d15z will fit on your engine.

With the gear ratio, it will seem as the gears will be a little bit longer then before.
