Because eg6 and ek9 were out for many many years, so there has been time for people to personal import them. EuroR is relatively new, out since 2003, so not many have been imported, probably none at all.

there is not enough variation for it to be imported under sevs, but if you can find a article on the car in stock form in a australian magazine you can present this to the government and after a while of processing it could be possible for import.

needs to be a special car for it to be imported. so barely any chance

one a side note ~does anyone know what the varition on ep3 was to make it illegible for import, what is the chassis code for the normal civic on that year was it EP or something else ?.

I have a euro-r wannabe! I tried importing one in to Australia, but couldn't get anyone to import it here, they said its impossible for it to be road legal. I'd sell my car any day if I could import a euro-r.

I'm pretty sure I've seen a magazine feature article about the euroR in stock form in an Australian magazine... will see if I can hunt it down.

Agreed. It (CL7) is too similar to the standard Euro CL9. They both have 4 doors, they both have similar power outputs (140kW vs 162kW) and they both are comfy.

The EP3 is 2 door and has substantially more power (160kW) than the standard D17 4-door hatch (96kW), which has a chassis code of the EU3.

ohh i see

so this is why ep3 was eligible , overall different chassis code, as opposed to fd1 and fd2 lol, interesting never knew it was 2 doors and call EU3 LOL
