Hey guys,

I've got an alpine xda ipod head unit with all blue illumination in my 2000 Accord and wanted the rest of my interior lighting in the dash/air con/controls to be the same and match.

How would I go about doing this and is it difficult? Parts wise I'm just assuming I'd need a bunch of blue led's to change over from the standard green? Does anyone have any expertise in this?

Just want to change the centre console lighting, but is it difficult to change the gauge/tacho colours too?

This is a LHD USDM model, but effectively what I want to achieve.

Cheers!

If you want to a buy a kit: http://www.ledautomotive.com/OrderInfo/98-02Accord/index.asp

I changed my lights in my CD5 Accord to red, but it was a real bitch because ALL the buttons had this green film on the back of it that had to be scraped off so the red light could get through. Anyway you only need to do that if you want to go any other colour apart from green or blue.

However in in your model I'm pretty sure it doesn't have that film and you can pretty much put whatever colour LED you want and it will shine through that colour. The hardest one to do (at least in mine) was the A/C lights because I had to make my own holder for the LEDs. But if you buy from that site it will have everything made for you plus step by step instructions:

Hope that helps
