DC2R Master Cylinder difference

Hi,

Is there any difference between AUDM DC2R with JDM DC2R 98+ or JDM DC2R pre 98 Master Cylinder?

Do you need to flare one of the brake lines when fitting to EG (without ABS)?
Are the holes (for the brake lines) on the master cylinder at the same position as stock EG one?

Which one should I get, to make the fitting easier?

i'm currently going through same process.
main thing i'd like to know is whether you need to flare
the brake lines ????

having looked at some DC2R engine bays, i believe
you would need to bend one line? Because the
outlet from the primary piston is actually situated vertically,
rather than horizontally and on an angle like that of the EG.
