I have CU2 Euro 2009 an want to get the wheel lock nuts to protect the alloy wheels. Any recommendation what and where I can get - I checked with Honda - too expensive - around $75 for a set of 5. Thanks.

There are a few lock lug nuts that are good but they are expensive compared to the ones you got quoted at honda.
Some to name are Rays, 5zigen, mcgard splinedrive, Mutegi
people recomment mcgard as they are made from steel:thumbsup:

Be careful when choosing after marking lug nuts, with stock rims they might do more harm than good.

Refer to this. (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=89126)

I used to have work wheel nuts which are forged. They look sexy, durable and its very light too.. you can get them from jdm concept but it will cost you more than the price quoted by honda...

Thanks to all who responded and the link especially - It looks like I will go for the Honda OEM accessory to be on the safe side as they should fit perfectly well. Just called Honda and a set of 5 cost $75.00.
Thanks once again.

remember guys......any lock nuts can be defeated with alittle DIY know how.

Its obviously the aim , to make your wheels HARDER to steal. IE take more time. So look at perhaps 2 types of lock nuts on your rims. (two per rim for example)

How about use 5 type of lock nuts... 5 per rims

ive heard of people doing this....

it would require a few different ways to remove , so thus your car would likely be stolen than the wheels removed.

Nah! I reckon that the Gorilla Guard Lock Nuts are the Ducks Nuts! They have a rotating hardened shroud around the splines that makes it more difficult for the nuts to be castrated.

the pain and suffering to carry 5 different keys to unlock your wheels when you need to replace a flat.

OP - $75 for a set of 5 is considered cheap considering if you buy aftermarket you'll be paying around the same price or more.
Make sure you get tapered as aftermarket wheels come tapered holes.

Yeah - finanlly got my Honda OEM Wheel lock nuts and they fit nicely and each set has individual key number so they are all different so great and need to remember in case you lose the key and Honda will be able to get the same key again.
