Momo wheels for SiR

I am thinking of getting some wheels for my SiR as it only has some small Mugen wheels on it right now. I really like Momo wheels and so far the Fighter wheels are at the top of my list. What do you all think?

The spokes are too 'rectangular' for my liking, give us a picture of it on ur siR
momo's are good but expensive tho! Get 20"s! let ur chassis sit on ur rubber! lol and run it through a speed hump!

My SiR is black. I was thinking about getting 18's but I am not sure yet. My exterior is all standard apart from the wheels which are only 15 inch Mugen's.

CRX's are 4x100 stud, did you swap to typeR lugs/brakes or what ?

as for your rims man, I wouldnt go any higher then 16, I personally would keep 15s on it ...

I was planning on keeping the Mugen wheels for motorsport and drag events. I wanted the Momo's as the best CRX I have ever seen had some similar Momo wheels on it and an unknown Cyber bodykit. I am not usually a fan of rice but this Cyber kit looked awesome.

Although the CRX in that pic looks absolutely terrible I quite like the wheels. I have photoshopped a few CRX's with those wheels (Momo Sport) to see how they look. What do you all think?

the momo sports are a classic ... and have also been thrashed ... but they always will be a nice rim, and cant go wrong with momo quality.

I had 17's on my Civic and I reckon they were too big. Yeh they look good etc, but they are generally heavier, your handling suffers and it cost lots of $$$ to get tyres of that profile. I have 15's on mine now and am wrapped, would go no bigger than 16" IMO.

Whats gay about them? Each of them are running worked VTEC engines and the red one is one of the fastest Gen 2 CRX's in QLD running a strong turbo engine. Please post a pic of your awesome CRX with 15's so I can tell you how gay it looks.

Unlike some people I actually respect cars that people have spent a lot of time and money on and I don't think it is right for someone to post ignorant statements about someone else's car when it is far superior to theirs. I'm more than able to tolerate & comprehend constructive criticism but merely labelling my ride as "gay" justifies jack shit...please feel free to post up your beast so I can pass judgement...the value of my engine would envelop what your Civic GLi would ever fathom to aspire to...

Thanks for the backup champ...but keeping to topic, the Momo's do stand the test of time in my opinion...a classic 5-spoke design could never go wrong mate...it'll complement your black beast very well...your call though but in the face of the prominent "chrome wheel" fraternity these days, the Momo Sports hold their own without a doubt...an ageless classic...approved :thumbsup:

I'm humbled it's worthy mate hehe...regarding your wheels, size could be problematic with 18s though...don't let the whole "big is better" philosophy blind you from what you desire from your ride...I'm on 18s myself & even though my ride is "show & go", 17s could pose less issues regarding expenses & scrubbing...at the end of the day, I'm sure you'll have thought it through before making a decision...& it'll look sweet whichever path you choose...all the best with it & post up some pics when you have the chance...

i used to have mugen 15"
i have gun metal ROH adrenalins now.. (cars black)

I think theres better wheels out there than those for ur crx... although they still pretty cool
