Just released figures - the 03-07 Euro gets 5 stars out of 5 for used car safety....flogging E46 3 series BMW, Volvo etc....:)

Cheers

PS....perhaps the Euro should just be called Honda X and BMWs etc should be aspiring to have the Euro 'badge' again....used to be that the european cars were the safest, not anymore in this category.

That's pretty much expected. Comparing here a recent model Accord Euro to older model cars. In line with technology improvements and consumer demand for safety you would imagine just about any recent model car to score better than a model from 2002 and earlier.

I agree however the E46 BMW goes to 2006 in that review and the Euro goes to 07...the E46 had all the air bags and traction control etc from early in its production life, but the 3 series isnt as structually strong as its buyers would hope for compared to the newer crop of rigid Japs.
