if like all other carmate product standards, id say sounds like farting vw kombi van..
out of curiosity i emailed for price, quoted $390, imo a total rip off
my got my xforce cannon muffler for 100$ new from these forums a while back
got piping welded up from the cat back 2inch press bent with redback resonator, for 170$
all up $270 for a catback.
you can grab xforce cannon from ebay for cheap as from this dude performance_wholesaler. seen em go for as cheap as 61$ + 27$ post= 88$
CARMATE are shit
370 for an axel back piece of shit, wet fart all day long with their yumcha mufflers

never even heard of carmate, just search ebay for '5zigen muffler' and u'll get a huge list of copies for like US 20bux, cant be worse than xforce
carmate is a riceshop in sydney. very poor service. dont go there
xforce is a decent reputable brand, that also make bolt on turbo back systems from cars like wrx's silvias etc.
those copy mufflers are like 3aracing and autotecnica ones
Total rubbish. buying these will guarantee you all the buzzing and fart sound if you are into that kinda thing. the muffler packing and build is so crap its not funny.

You get what you pay for. X-Force seem good quality. There is no way I would put a $20 EBAY muffler on my car. (Maybe my work pig Mitsu Colt!)

they weld it on to fit... i would try to get 2inch or 2.25. beta for civic if you going exhaust system.. ?? (correct if im wrong) but if ish just the tip and your dont plan to mod full exhaust dont matter much i guess with 2.5

if you get a 2.5" inlet muffler and your piping is 2" the exhaust shop will weld a step in between, fairly simple.
and guys dont bother with carmate, their customer service lick balls

yeah i do attest to the fact that the service is bad and all.
they did tell me that the parts would fit really well and that it's up to the skill of the fitters. sheesh. i duno about them mate but they do seem pretty dodgy to me now that alot of me mates have commented on their service and parts.
sheesh
, was thinking of purchasing a carbonfibre bonnet off them a while back but i guess it was a good choice to abort that.
cheers mate
