Hi guys need some advice on how to remove my window winder from my EG civic that has been superglued on.
Broke off while installing an alarm and the installer superglued it back on. Tried yanking it off but it wont budge. Any tips? Need to take it off so i can install spacers for the front speakers and stop that damn rattling.

Use acetone and pour it over the super glue. It will dissolve it! :D Nail polish remover contains acetone. Make sure you read the bottle because some is acetone free.

Have you taken out the clip which actually holds the handle onto the door?
The superglue could just be to hold the handle together, unless the installer has glued the socket into the pin...

Acetone will also discolour the plastic in your door trim. :thumbdwn:
