So I am currently getting things ready in the brake department while my shell is being sprayed.

In relation to boosters and m/c, I've tracked a couple cars in europe (not hondas) that did not run a booster. Pedal feedback was interesting in a good way. Pedal effort was solid feeling albiet alot more pressure needed.... I quite enjoyed it but must say it would definately not be to everyones liking.

I'm working with the common shaved bracket DC2R caliper on a redrilled prelude disc in place of the existing 262mm on the EK4.... just a simple upgrade that is plenty for the power I'll have.

I'm not totally wanting to scrap the booster, but given I am aiming towards going for a 1" m/c (ITR M/C) due to the larger piston sizes on the DC2R calipers, would running the EK4 booster with the 1" m/c produce the effect I am looking for (slight increase in pedal effort) without sacrificing anything?

Is the ITR m/c able to mate up to the EK4 booster?

And I guess while I'm at it.... does the ITR M/C match up to the existing hard brake lines in the EK4 or am I looking at doing some bending?

15/16' is big enough for dc2r calipers. But other people have said you need 1' or it wont work with dc2r calipers.

Thanks mate.... so no ideas if the ITR mc bolts to the EK4 booster and hardlines hook up with no issue?

EK4 booster is designed for the 15/16 mc.
Don't quote me on it, but where the piston meets
the booster i think it WONT fit. Any particular booster should
only fit with the matching sized MC? Therefore Prelude 1" MC
could match ITR boosters for that reason? I would double check
this info with others.

The 2 hard brake lines from the MC that meets the prop valve
will fit. If for the EK4 MC, the line furthest from the booster
faced straight up, you won't need to bend the line. If it is faced
diagonally towards the right, you will need to bend it slightly.
My EG4 MC was located on the right diagonal. I have not had
any issues after bending the lines to fit the opening of the DC2R
MC.
