Defect question?

Just wondering I have never got defected yet, but, do you lose any points if you get defects?

follow that link, there are lists of every kind of offence / defect that you can be done for, or close to it. Will list the fines / points you can get

that one lets you search, and you can bring up defects in the "Vehicle Standards" part of the search

NSW only, seeing as your thingy on the side says sydney...

when they give you the defect ticket they circle wether its a demerit offence or not.
